Welcome, and thank you so much for your interest in the Shooting Still & Styled 2019 Workshop!
Every year this workshop is such a joy for me to put together for those of you who either love to shoot styled still photography for yourself or other brands.
It is not uncommon for attendees to come from other states, and leave with the knowledge to start their own business, or grow the one they already have.
As I do research every year for other workshops with similar focus, I find there are not very many options in the US, especially those that are affordable for many small business owners or creative women just realizing their passion in still photography. It can be life-changing!
This workshop will start at the beginning steps to planning a shoot, choosing the gear, props, location, gaining clients, performing the shoot and delivering on-brand images. Even if you enjoy shooting for yourself at home, shooting still details can be extremely satisfying, peaceful and relaxing.
Our topics will focus on styling and shooting still details of food, still-life items/products and flowers, as well as interior design situations. As many of us shoot inside of our own homes, or various locations for our branding clients, we will have a beautiful location to shoot inside of.
Before I get into the specific details, let me reiterate that this workshop is focused on the process of styling and shooting still details in natural light, approaching the intermediate level.
